For 99 Restaurants, their colorful, branded kids’ menu was all about turning dining into playtime. Each quarter a themed menu was illustrated and designed, featuring baseball, outer space, superheroes, dinosaurs and more, with plenty of bright colors and fun games like connect the dots, tic tac toe, word puzzles and coloring. In one standout year fresh illustration concepts introduced new characters and a new style to keep things exciting. With tight deadlines the creative work was delivered in full each quarter so the restaurant could roll out menus that delighted kids and gave parents something fun to flip through at the table.
